At the request of my good friend Jessica Newman, I am updating. I don't have internet access at home right now so it's been a long while.

Life is just CRAZY lately. I work at Fox & The Hound now (in O.P. on Metcalf- come see me!!). I worked 56 hours last week and I'm scheduled for 65 the coming week because of March Madness. I have no recollection of what it's like to have a life outside of work anymore.

I pretty much hate most of my co-workers. Some are nice but the majority are just jerks. It kind of sucks.

For anyone who hasn't heard, I'm getting married. HA HA!! Just kidding. No, actually I'm the lead singer of a band now, which is pretty much where I spend the majority of my "free" time. What little there is of it. Ugh. Can't wait til March is over.

I'm dating around a lot right now and for once, enjoying being single. But mainly I'm just holding out for Dane Cook. I love him.

Can't wait for summer.

1. I actually enjoy my job and while I’m there I seem to have a strange love for colored paperclips and binderclips.

2. I consider my sister and my boyfriend my two best friends, but also consider my closest friends a part of my immediate family.

3. My biggest annoyance in life stems from starting a project or hobby and not automatically being good at it.

4. I own far more clothing than one individual should and yet I still find I never know what to wear.

5. Although I can honestly say that I don’t know what I believe as far as religion goes, I still thank God every day for my loved ones and the many, many blessings that have been bestowed upon me.

Me: “Um… it is today.”

Ok, sooo. My weekend was all kinds of craziness. On Wednesday (yes, I know that's not the weekend), my co-worker Megan decided a group of us should go bowling on Friday night. So she put the word out and we did just that. Our group was fabulous but awfully random. There were Megan & Adam, Ruby, Myself & Steven (good Lord, I actually just saw a company on TV sponsored by PRA... weird. Anyway...), Hilary & Tabi and a bunch of their friends, Jordan, and Sarah and her boyfriend. A bit later, Sully, Heath, & Cat joined us. We had an absolute blast. After bowling we traveled to Freddy T's, a bar in Olathe, where we talked, played pool, and sang karaoke. It was just so much fun and definitely needs to be a reoccurrence.

Saturday day, Steven and I basically sat around and did nothing. We ran a couple of errands and then watched Cannibal! The Musical which was AMAZING...ly random. Saturday night was Jessica Cox's birthday dinner at Margarita's. Among others there were myself, Jessica & Levi, Billy the Beast, Matt A, Matty, Carmen, Milk, and Cy. It was pretty much insane. But always great to see that crazy bunch of youngsters. Afterwards I was supposed to be going to Matti, Gwen, Sully, and Steven's party. However, as luck may have it (bad luck I think, because I wanted to see those kids), Steven had left. I hung out with him, Sully, and Josh for a bit before promptly falling asleep, much to my misfortune the next day. But I did get to see Steven on his actual birthday, so that made up for it I suppose. Happy (now belated) birthday, Steven!!

Things are good for the most part. Today was very stressful and I did end up crying a couple of times. I've had a couple of moments in the past few days that I don't feel very good about but there's one in particular that I need to apologize for. To you: I'm very, very sorry for my behavior yesterday. I was completely out of line and I didn't mean the things I said. I really was being selfish and really idiotic but couldn't see it until much later. I really hope I haven't lost your friendship.

To Christoff: I hope you feel better. I was kidding about you being a pain in the butt. Maybe I could be the pain in your butt... I take that back... :)

To my blessed, blessed sister: I welcome your return and can't wait to hear all of the details.

12 days until the big move... The Housewarming/Christmas party is scheduled for December 10th!! If you have any doubt that I have your email address to send you an evite, please leave it for me. I want you all there!!

In other news, I spent last weekend in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The majority of this time was spent with Steven's family on his father's new boat. It was quite an enjoyable time, if I may say so. I got along nicely with all of his family as well as a few people he didn't even know! The trip itself was scheduled (no thanks to mapquest) to take 5 and a half hours. It actually took over 7 hours to get there on Saturday. As neither Steven nor myself are the best navigators on the face of this planet, we did get a bit... erm... sidetracked a couple of times. But we did eventually find the way. The boat itself was beautiful. The two of us spent a good forty-five minutes on the upper deck just admiring the sky that evening. Everything was so clear and serene there. You could literally watch the stars twinkle. It was pretty fantastical. On Saturday night we had tentative plans to stay with Steven's half-brother, Rob, at his cabin. This would have been all well and fine except that the directions we got neglected to mention that the street we were looking to turn on to was actually a town. Hmmm... After 2 hours of hapless navigating we opted to stay in a hotel instead. The next day we had lunch on the boat, which was a good time, and headed out of town around 1ish. I drove since Steven had a considerable amount of studying left to do. I definitely got the better of the two drives (yes, we deviated a bit from the mapquest directions). We got very lucky with perfect weather during the most amazing time of year to take a roadtrip--fall. It never dropped below 60 and the trees were in full force of their leaves changing. It was beautiful which, by the way, I never imagined I'd say about Oklahoma/Arkansas... But it was. When we got back to Steven's I also met his mother and her husband so I suppose I met the entire family this weekend! It was exciting. The most amazing part, however, was the fact that after 33 hours together we really still weren't sick of each other or irritated by the presence of the other. In fact, I think we kind of kept each other happy and sane. It was wonderful. It was, however, very difficult to go back to work on Monday. But I suppose that happens.

This evening I went and picked up all of my kitchen stuff from Caitlin, a co-worker of mine. So I'm fully stocked there. Afterwards, Jordan and I enjoyed happy hour at Friday's and then went to see Saw 2. It actually wasn't half bad. I would recommend seeing the first one before, however. Also, if you have any kind of a weak stomach, this is NOT the movie for you. If you thought the first one was gory... Not even close. Actually, the least gory part of the movie had me cringing and almost in tears from anxiety and fear. I don't know if I could say that this was a good movie standing on it's own, but it was a good follow-up which is kind of hard to find in a sequel.

“I’m a girl, you know…”

I was approved for my very first apartment alone, so I move on the 22^nd of November. I’m so excited!! It’s 820 sq. ft. with a wood-burning fireplace and TONS of closet space. It’s going to be amazing. …Why, of course you can help me move!! How thoughtful of you! In other news, I love my job. I know, right?? I worked a 12 hour day on Monday so I was given the choice of flexing the time at any point during the week that I wanted. I opted for Thursday. So yesterday my good friend Jordan took me to lunch at Panera and then I left work at 2:45. …yes, we ARE actually friends. Anyway, I think it could easily be described as the shortest day of my working life. It could also be described as fabulous. There was a very strange air about the office yesterday. The majority of my co-workers were giddy and very silly. It was good fun. After I left work I went on my "second" date with Steven (Cowdefender). It lasted roughly ten hours. …Yes, it is rather difficult to imagine. But it has most definitely proven to be possible. Granted, we have known each other for over a year, but there was no discomfort or awkwardness. I also don’t think I’ve ever done that much consistent giggling in one night. It was definitely the best 2^nd, 15^th, 28^th… whatever… date I’ve had. Actually, it was the best DATE I've had. Aside from the blood, getting hit by the gate, the “right” conversation, and the carcass comment… J

I am happier right now than I can ever remember being. I actually smiled to myself and found tears running down my face the other day simply because of pure bliss. I’m not sure I’ve ever had that happen before. It’s good stuff.
